Step 4:

Now, it’s time to grease your pan with some butter (or oil if you prefer). Then, drop down large spoonfuls of the batter onto the greased pans.

Step 5:

Once the cookies are in the preheated oven, let them cook for around 10-12 minutes or until the cookies are nicely browned.

Easy-to- Make Sugar Cookies

Easy-to- Make Sugar CookiesIngredients you’ll need:

  • One teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • Two or three cups of all-purpose flour
  • One teaspoon of baking soda
  • One teaspoon of cream of tartar
  • One or two large eggs
  • One teaspoon of almond extract
  • One tablespoon of lemon zest
  • Three-quarter cup of powdered sugar
  • Half teaspoon of sea salt

Ingredients you’ll need for decorating:

  • Icing
  • Glaze
  • Cashew Frosting
  • A mixture of coarse sugar with a tiny amount of matcha powder
  • Supernatural White sequins

Instructions to make the Easy-to- make Sugar Cookies:

Step 1:

Again, it’s obvious that you should start by preheating the oven to 350°F. Then, line at least two baking pans with parchment paper.

Step 2:

Take a large bowl and add the all-purpose flour, baking soda, cream of tartar and salt. Start combining the ingredients until you obtain a smooth mixture.

Step 3:

Now, cream the butter using a stand mixer. Proceed by adding the sugar and beating until a fluffy batter is obtained. Then, add the eggs, the almond extract, vanilla extract and lemon zest and combine them properly. It is important to note that all the dry ingredients must be added one third at a time.

Step 4:

Once you have a well-combined dough, divide it into two balls and use a plate (or anything else you can use) to flatten them into disks. Then, wrap each disk in plastic wrap and transfer them to the fridge. Let them chill for around 2-3 hours.

Step 4:

Once time is over, take out the dough and roll them on a flat surface. You can use cookie cutters to create desired shapes. Once you are done with this task, transfer them to the baking sheets and let them bake for 8-10 minutes. Before the last two-one minutes, take a look at the cookies and see if they are ready or if they need more baking time. After removing them from the oven, set them aside.

Step 5:

This is the decoration phase: Once you’ve sifted the sugar, pour it into a medium bowl and add the meringue powder and some water (around 4-5 tablespoons of water). Mix these ingredients until you obtain a smooth mixture. Once you’ve transferred the frosting to a piping bag, get ready to decorate your cookies the way you want.
