The black Russian is a simple, easy, and delicious drink that anyone can make with just a couple of things. It is one of the best cocktails to make, especially if you are on a tight budget. All you need to make this simple and delicious drink is vodka and coffee liqueur.

All you need to make this drink is to stir 1 ½ ounce of vodka and ¾ ounce of coffee liqueur in a chilled glass. This is also another delicious drink if you love coffee like me and is a definite must-have, and you can easily make it at home.

2. Gin Rickey

cocktails

This is another simple gin cocktail in our list of easy drinks that you can make at home. A gin Rickey is a relatively simple drink with only 3 ingredients. It has 2 ounces of gin. ½ ounces of freshly squeezed lime juice and 4 ounces of club soda. You just have to mix it in a shaker and serve it in a chilled highball glass.

This is a simple drink that you can make on any weekday and enjoy after a hard day at work. This is also one of the favorite cocktails of many gin lovers out there. You can just change the liquor to make one of the drinks of the famous Collins family, and you can swap the gin with whiskey, vodka, or nearly any other spirits out there. The world is your oyster when it comes to cocktail making.

3. Royal Tea

cocktails

If you are a tea lover, this is the perfect cocktail for you; it mixes alcohol and liquor. Tea is an economical ingredient and is also a versatile ingredient that everyone ought to have in their pantry. A royal-tea cocktail is an incredible drink that mixes Earl Grey, lemon, simple syrup, and gin.

Tea works with a plethora of liquors, and you can mix vodka with your favorite tea to make a tea tini. To make a Jalisco ice tea, all you have to do is swap the gin for tequila in your mixture. You can make it in a pitcher as if you are making your favorite iced tea, and you can serve it to your guests like that, and it is a refreshing drink that everyone will thank you for.

4. Cafe Caribbean

cocktails

As someone who can’t start my day without coffee, this is one of my favorite dessert cocktails out there. If the previous drink is perfect for any tea lover, then this one is the perfect drink for coffee lovers. The cafe Caribbeans are the perfect cocktail that shows you how easy it is to spice up your coffee, and it is the perfect drink to have and unwind after a hard day at work.

All you need to make your own cafe Caribbean at home is espresso, rum, amaretto, whip cream, and shaved almonds. You just have to mix 6 ounces of hot black coffee, one ounce of rum, and ½ ounce of amaretto liqueur and serve in a glass and top it with whipped cream and shaved sliced almonds. This drink is the perfect dessert cocktail and hits the spot, as we mentioned earlier.

5. Highball

cocktails

Though this drink might have a really fancy name, it is a rather simple drink that you can make at home. All you need to make this drink is ginger ale and whiskey. You just have to mix 2 ounces of whiskey and 4 to 6 ounces (this is according to taste, of course) of ginger ale or club soda. This is also a rather simple drink to make at home, and depending on the whiskey you use, this drink can cost as cheap as 1 dollar.

Final thoughts

Granted, buying alcohol isn’t cheap, but buying the bottle is cheaper than buying individual cocktails at bars. But, I would be lying if I told you that I only drank cocktails at home; my friends and I love bar hopping, and this is our way to spend a Friday afternoon, and it is one of our favorite bonding experiences. So, relax and have a drink (unless you are sober)!!
